This 'fashion'of apologising to fans for letting them down is a load of nonsense. These fans were not hurt in any meaningful way in comparison to Tiger's wife. The man is a golfer - ok a good one - nothing more. His apology didn't seem to carry much conviction to me. It was delivered without much passion or any sign of contriteness. Sounded more like a carefully crafted speach designed to rescue his sponsorship/business deals. I'm not surprised his wife decided not to endorse this stage managed apology by her presence !!!
